Responsible for reconciling client accounts and providing reconciled reports to Accounting team. Responsible for enrolling new agents and issuing California Certificates of Insurance, cancelling policies when agents are retired, and providing refunds to clients based on unused premiums. Researched client issues such as wrongful cancellations, premium payment issues, and refund issues. Worked on special projects for high-profile and large value clients to ensure appropriate turnaround times for enrollments and cancellations, acted as a liaison to the account management teams to ensure transparency between our departments, and to make sure client expectations are set appropriately.
Assistant Parks Coordinator (Internship)
City of Anaheim (Summer 2003 – Summer 2006)
During my summer internship with the City of Anaheim’s Community Services Department, I collaborated with the Parks Coordinator to support the maintenance and enhancement of city parks, sports fields, trails, and open spaces. My responsibilities included assisting in the planning and coordination of landscaping and irrigation projects, scheduling maintenance tasks, and monitoring progress. I gained hands-on experience with automatic and manual irrigation systems, including programming and troubleshooting under supervision. Additionally, I supported efforts to inspect park facilities, playgrounds, and restrooms to ensure safety and functionality while helping to prioritize and organize work assignments for staff and contractors. My role also involved tracking inventory, preparing reports, and contributing to the smooth execution of maintenance projects that upheld the city’s quality standards for public spaces.

California High School Speech Association (September 2008 – April 2010)
Served on the Congress Committee for the California High School Speech Association. My duties involve representing the Orange County Speech League at the State Council, working with other league presidents to determine the direction of speech and debate programs in California and how to integrate speech and debate programs into California secondary school curriculum. Furthermore, I served on the Congress Committee, which develops rules and standards for the event of Student Congress for state and local competition.

National Speech and Debate Association, f.k.a. National Forensics League (September 2009 – April 2010)
I was elected by National Forensics League, Southern California District members to represent the Orange County, California speech and debate programs in the Southern California District. My duties involved serving as a liaison between the National Forensics League and Orange County Speech League (and their member schools). I also served as a voting member to convey the needs and concerns of the Orange County Speech League to the National Forensics League District Committee.

My functions involved managing the operations of the league — recruiting new schools in the Orange County, California area to join the league, planning, arranging, scheduling league tournaments, finding ways to bring income to the league, and coordinating the participating schools so that speech and debate is uniform in the league and operating in the constraints of the state council. I am also responsible for public relations activities of the league and other league-related issues.
